Facade Retention
It has become normal practice to include this type of work within the Demolition Contractors package.
Working closely with our structural engineers, we can and have designed and installed many temporary work schemes. These have varied from simple back propping support schemes to eliminate floor overloading, to the provision of major detailed facade retention work, thus ensuring large areas of the original structure can be retained for the subsequent redevelopment and ensuring that the remainder of the building is demolished safely.
The type of support work has been varied from the bespoke Mabey and RMD systems to a completely unique fabricated steelwork assembly.
